How do I book an appointment?

What is your fee?

Our fee for a 50 minute consult is $215 for weekday appointments & $230 for out of hours appointments. Bulk billing is not available. The Medicare rebate of $96.65 is available for those on a Mental Health Care Plan. Private Health Fund rebates may apply, please contact your Health Fund. How do I make payment?

Payments are accepted by cash, credit card or debit card. Payment is required at the time of consultation.

Do I need a referral?

No, you do not need a referral. However, you will be unable to claim the Medicare rebate without a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP

How long is a session & how many will I need?

Each session is 50 minutes in duration. The number of sessions is dependent upon a number of factors including the complexity of the problem, and the client's readiness and ability to implement strategies discussed during sessions. Some people need only a few sessions and some need more.

Why is there a cancellation fee?

This is because this time has been reserved for you and it is a loss to a another client who urgently wanted to see a psychologist earlier, as well as a loss to the psychologist. It is a 50 minute session that the psychologist has dedicated for you and it is important that time is respected.
